Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (8 September) praised Priyavrata who became the youngest person to pass the ‘Mahapariksha’ examination, ANI reported.
PM Modi congratulated him on Twitter saying, “Excellent! Congratulations to Priyavrata for this feat. His achievement will serve as a source of inspiration for many!”
His wishes came in response to a tweet by Chamu Krishna Shastry announcing the achievement of Priyavrata, who passed 14 levels of Tenali Pariksha.
Excellent!

The examination is conducted twice a year by Shri Kanchi Veda Vedanta Shastra Sabha in Byaya, Mimamsa, Vyakarana, Advaita, and Veda Bhashya. Priyavrata had taken the examination in all Vyakarana Maha Granthas.
Along with all Vyakaran Maha Granthas, he was also learning Veda and Nyaya from his father, Shastry informed in his tweet.
The young boy also drew appreciation from University of Delhi’s Sanskrit department. Head of the department Ramesh Bhardwaj said, “This is a remarkable feat achieved by a 16-year-old. It is difficult for scholars who are 40-50 years to clear this 14-step exam of shastras.”

Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
