Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on Tuesday (18 June) chaired a high level meeting with the key secretaries of finance and other ministries of the Government of India to finalise the government's 100-day-agenda with a focus on reinvigorating the economy and employment generation drive, reports Financial Express.
The crucial meeting took place at the PM's residence and was attended by all the five secretaries in the Ministry of Finance along with other key bureaucrats and top officials from the NITI Aayog.
In the meeting, deliberations were held on a 5-year-vision for the government with a view to achieving a $5 trillion economy goal in the shortest possible period. Also, it is being reported that the implementation of many of the PM Modi's flagship projects, including doubling the farmer's income and piped water for all, were discussed in detail.
PM Modi is believed to have discussed the road map for key reforms for every department with a view to make it easier to do business in India and boost the economy.
