PM Modi To Arrive In Lucknow Today To Pay Tributes To Former UP CM Kalyan Singh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Lucknow on Sunday (22 August) morning to pay tributes to former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh who died late on Saturday (21 August) night.
Lucknow police commissioner D K Thakur said that the Prime Minister will land in Lucknow around 9.30 am and drive straight to the Mall Avenue residence of the late leader where he will offer his condolences and meet family members.
Dattatreya Hosabale , senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader, is also arriving in Lucknow to pay tributes to late Kalyan Singh.
Singh, who was the UP CM when the Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992, passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 89.
Kalyan Singh's last rites will be performed on the bank of Ganga in Narora in the evening of on Monday (21 August).
UP CM Yogi Adityanath has declared three-day state mourning to condole the demise of Kalyan Singh.
A public holiday has also been announced in UP on Monday.
