Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and his British counterpart PM Boris Johnson are set to hold a virtual bilateral summit tomorrow (4 May) which will also witness the launch of a comprehensive “Roadmap 2030” to further deepen the strong ties between the two nations, Livemint.
The said Roadmap 2030 will pave the way for further expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation over the next decade across five key areas - people-to-people relationship, trade & prosperity, defence & security, climate action & healthcare.
Regarding the virtual summit, Downing Street has said that the meeting between the two PMs will be held to agree on a "huge range" of commitments which would include the fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
