In a development that could manifest into a big connectivity and infrastructure boost for the holy city of Ayodhya, the city is set to get be one of the stops on the proposed Delhi-Varanasi bullet train corridor for which the Government is presently preparing a detailed project report (DPR), reports Times of India.
The bullet train project comes as a major boost for the city which will soon see the manifestation of a glorious and grand temple of Lord Ram.
The DPR for the 800-kilometres-long bullet train project is being readied by the Nation High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL). It is proposed to all connect Mathura, Prayagraj, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Etawah, Bhadohi and Raebareli and the upcoming international airport at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh (UP).
To prepare the DPR at the earliest, the NHSRCL intends to make use of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) survey technique, the use of which in the preparation of the DPR for under-construction Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor had shortened the time taken for alignment/ground survey from the usual of 10-12 months to mere 12 weeks.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
