The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to accord highest priority to employment generation, the PMO said on Thursday (19 January).
The event is expected to serve as a catalyst for further job creation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development, the PMO said.
The new recruits, selected from various locations throughout the country, will be joining various positions under the Central government such as Junior Engineers, Loco Pilots, Technicians, Inspectors, Sub Inspectors, Constables, Stenographers, Junior Accountants, Grameen Dak Sevaks, Income Tax Inspectors, Teachers, Nurses, Doctors, Social Security Officers, PAs, MTS, and more.
During the Rozgar Mela, the experience of the new hires in utilising the Karmayogi Prarambh module, an online orientation course for new government employees, will also be shared.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
