Sushant Singh Rajput was scared for his life after the death of his former manager Disha Salian, his friend Smita said on Republic TV.
Official accounts have claimed that Salian "jumped" from the fourteenth floor of her flat in Malad.
Sushant's friend Smita sensationally said yesterday (31 July) that the actor was very upset by Salian's death and kept telling his sister Mitu Singh that, "They will not leave me now. They will come after me...they will chase me now".
Smita also said that Sushant had called his brother-in-law who is an IPS officer in Chandigarh to tell him that he was very scared and wanted to leave Mumbai.
As per Smita, Sushant was behaving normally before Salian's death and was engaging in activities like Yoga and Table Tennis. His anxiety and fear only emerged after Salian's death.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
