Maulana Muhammad Saad Khandalvi the chief of Nizamuddin Markaz which organised the infamous Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi is believed to have moved to a different house as he continues to evade the Delhi Police, India Today has reported.
He has reportedly moved to a different house in the Zakir Nagar locality in Delhi.
Saad who continues to evade the cops’ questions is also yet to appear before the authorities despite multiple notices. He had earlier justified his actions by claiming that he is observing self-quarantine but the isolation period has since then ended.
Out of all the questions posed to Saad during his “self-quarantine” period, the latter only answered a few by claiming that more information was not available to him during isolation.
He has already been booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The Delhi police is first expected to take a statement from Saad, following which it will decide on whether to arrest him.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
