The Cheapest Flight To Canada? Iceland-Based Wow Air To Commence New Delhi-Vancouver Operations With Rs 21,999 Fare

Wow Air, the Icelandic long-haul budget carrier plans to fly to Vancouver in Canada from New Delhi, starting June next year, it said on Wednesday (24 October).
The release said that the proposed New Delhi-Vancouver routes would be operated thrice on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays every week. The New Delhi-Vancouver flight's starting fare is economy class is Rs 21,999 and business class Rs 63,610.
The airline in May announced services from New Delhi to multiple destinations in North America and Europe with Reykjavik hub as a stop in Iceland from December.
Wow plans to connect New Delhi with destinations such as Iceland, Chicago, New York, Detroit, Baltimore, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles and Orlando, starting 7 December.
"We are happy to announce the new flight to Vancouver from New Delhi. This new addition will definitely give a boost to the response from the Indian market. We are eagerly waiting for the operations to begin from New Delhi in December," said Skuli Mogensen, founder and chief executive officer, Wow Air.
The flight to Vancouver will have a layover of two hours 25 minutes at Iceland and three hours and 20 minutes in its return journey, as reported by PTI.
