British Islamist hate preacher Anjem Choudary who was sentenced to five years and six months in prison for inviting Islamic terrorist groups like ISIS to the United Kingdom (UK) will be subjected under heightened surveillance after a photograph emerged of him standing side-by-side with convicted terrorist Usman Khan, the London Bridge attack terrorist, reports The Telegraph.

Choudary’s licensing conditions are under urgent review as security agencies crackdown on “67 jihadi terrorists freed from jail and living in the community.”

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday (02 December) night called for an “overhaul of the system” that enabled Usman Khan to be released when he had only served half his sentence.

Choudary is one of Britain’s most notorious salafi Islamic hate cleric who had formed Islam4UK, which has goals, according to its website, "Established by sincere Muslims as a platform to propagate the supreme Islamic ideology within the United Kingdom as a divine alternative to man-made law."

He also referred to 11 September 2001 terrorists as "magnificent martyrs" and has demanded Sharia Law to be implemented in UK.

Supporters of Choudary’s proscribed terror group, al-Muhajiroun, have carried out terror attacks that including the London Bridge attack, 7/7 London bombings, and the murder of Lee Rigby. Also many of his parishioners have fought for ISIS, al-Qaeda and the Taliban abroad.
