Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday (1 February) presented the Union Budget 2022-23 in the Parliament.
In the budget speech, the Finance Minister announced that the Indian Railways will be developing new products and logistic services for farmers and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).
She further said that the concept of ‘One Nation One Product’ will be popularised to ensure that greater support is given to bolster the supply chain of local products.
Further, the Finance Minister explained that 100 cargo terminals will be developed under the PM Gati Shakti scheme.
The PM Gati Shakti initiative is expected to further create greater employment opportunities for the youth, as announced in the Budget.
