Varanasi Turns Into Sea Of Saffron As PM Modi Begins Mega Roadshow Amidst Har Har Mahadev Chants Prime Minister Narendra Modi (@BJP/Twitter)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening (25 April) began his mega road show in Varanasi and was greeted by a sea of supporters in the holy city.

As per a News18 report, around six lakh people have joined the Prime Minister and were heard chanting Har Har Mahadev and pro-Modi slogans.

The road show began from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus after Prime Minister Modi paid his respects to the statue of Madan Mohan Malviya. He has been accompanied by top BJP leaders including Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath, Piyush Goyal and J P Nadda.

This is the third road show conducted by Prime Minister Modi since 2014. It is scheduled to pass through Assi, Bhadini, Sonarpura, Madanpura, Jangambadi and Godowlia. It will culminate at the Dashashwamedh Ghat where he will participate in the Ganga Aarti.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to file his Lok Sabha nomination papers in the city tomorrow at about 11.30 AM.
