India shot down a Pakistani drone in Gujarat that had intruded into the Indian territory today (26 Feburary), reports India Today.

The drone was found along the India-Pakistan border in Kutch at 6.30 am. However, it cannot be confirmed if the drone takedown was part of India's pre-dawn airstrike.

At around 3.30 am this morning, twelve Mirage 2000 aircraft struck a major terrorist camps across LoC, which led to its destruction. IAF jets dropped 1000 kg bombs at the target site.

Striking the region lying in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, multiple Mirage 2000 Indian Fighters entered deep into the enemy controlled territory to carry out the air strikes. The current situation along the LoC continues to remain tense.

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale, in his 11.30 am press conference today confirmed that India destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammad’s biggest outlet in Balakot in Pakistan.
