Twelve cops were injured in stone pelting at Delhi’s Jamia Milia Islamia University and two have been admitted in ICU after sustaining serious injuries, while combating anti-Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) protests on Friday (13 December).

As reported by senior journalist Swati Goel Sharma, the protests which also broke out inside the university also saw Islamic chants like Allahu Akbar and Nara e Takbeer.

One protester can also be seen chanting Tera Mera Rishta Kya, La Ilaha Illallah; Azadi Kaun Dilayega, La Illaha Illallah.

Around 50 Jamia students have been detained by the cops in connection with the incident. The students initially wanted to march towards the Parliament but the cops had placed barricades which resulted in clashes.
