Watch: Swara Bhasker Says Police Should Not Retaliate Against Violent Rioters

Actor Swara Bhasker who has been a vocal supporter of anti-citizenship amendment act (CAA) protesters, was recorded on camera saying that the cops should not retaliate against violent mobs and instead take measures to “control it”.

In the video a journalist can be seen telling Bhasker that any police would naturally retaliate against a violent mob.

Bhasker though tersely disagreed by saying, “are you fighting a war, are you on the border, what is this language. Should the police retaliate or should it control the rioters and establish law and order”.

Bhasker later also carried out an ad hominem attack on the journalist by saying that the problem lies in the mentality of people like him and called it communal.
