Congress supporter Tehseen Poonawalla who was recently eliminated from Big Boss, today decided to create a Reality TV show like drama in Delhi.
After announcing a protest against Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman by wilfully misrepresenting her statement on rising onion prices, Poonawalla reached Delhi’s Vijay Chowk along with his supporters.
There he decided to protest by walking with a wheelchair to metaphorically allege that the common man has been crippled by the government. This protest though was deemed to be in violation of Article 144 and the Delhi police thus objected to it.
Poonawalla then decided to brazen it out by daring the Delhi police to come and arrest him.
Dear Delhi Police this statement of @nsitharaman ji ma'am is exactly like Marie Antoinette - "don't have bread.. eat cake!!" The Same elite, arrogant, power in the head mindset "

When the cops finally came to detain him, Poonawalla kicked off a big drama by frantically protesting to the media while he was being taken away.

In the video, Poonawalla can be seen resisting the detention and at one point even went down on the ground to make things even more difficult for the cops.
He can ultimately be seen demanding to know what wrong did he do as he got dragged into the waiting police van.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
