Angry commuters on Mumbai’s central line on Wednesday (29 January) confronted and clashed with anti-CAA protesters after the latter began a Rail Roko agitation at Kanjurmarg station at around 8.00 AM in the morning, India Today has reported.
As part of a supposed Bharat Bandh around 50 members of Bahujan Kranti Morcha blocked the railway track and began raising slogans against CAA and NRC. This resulted in a local track getting blocked during peak office hour.
Soon irate office commuters decided to walk near the protesters and confront them demanding that they call off their protest as the commuters are getting late for office.
Soon a clash erupted between the commuters and the protesters. Cops soon arrived at the scene and removed the protesters from the tracks. Some of them were also detained by the cops.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
