Exuding confidence about returning to the Prime Minister’s Office for a second straight time, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi said that National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win more than 300 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, in an interview to the Republic Channel.
Asserting his deeds in the office, Modi said, “We will more seats than we did in 2014. Those doubts in the minds of people as to who is Modi are now erased by what Modi has done to the nation’s security and the poor. With the backing of our work, BJP will have the last laugh with complete majority on it’s own and people are going to elect us where we did not have a strong presence in 2014”.
In the interview with Arnab Goswami, Modi said, “There is no contest in 2019”. He went on add, “Defence deals worked like ATMs to the previous, Congress governments. They never bothered about the forces until their own interests were served. Now they cannot digest the fact that defence deals are happening transparently and honestly”.
Taking on the Mahaghatbandhan, the PM said that this alliance has only got more and more scattered over the course of it’s making. The PM is supposed to address over 150 rallies in the coming days.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
