With 96 New Coronavirus Cases, Odisha’s Covid-19 Tally Increases To 1,819

The Covid-19 tally in Odisha saw the addition of 96 more cases raising the total number of positive cases in the state to 1,819, said the health department on Saturday (30 May).
As many as seven people have died in the state due to the Covid-19 so far.
With this, the active cases in the state stood at 760 while 1,050 persons have recovered so far.
Ganjam district has reported the highest 404 Covid-19 positive cases so far, followed by 259 infections in Jajpur, 146 in Balasore, 131 in Khurdha, 113 in Bhadrak, 95 in Cuttack, 87 in Puri, 71 in Kendrapada, 69 in Balangir, 66 in Jagatsinghpur, 65 in Nayagarh, 48 in Sundargarh, 33 in Boudh, 28 in Deogarh, 25 in Angul, and 22 in Keonjhar.
Other districts that have reported 20 or less cases include Kalahandi (20), Gajapati (20), Malkangiri (19), Nuapada (18), Dhenkanal (18), Mayurbhanj (17), Kandhamal (13), Sambalpur (8), Koraput (8), Jharsuguda (7), Sonepur (5), Nawarangpur (2) and Baragarh (2).
