Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been voted as the most popular Chief Minister in India as per the Mood Of The Nation (MOTN) poll conducted by India Today.
Yogi Adityanath secured a total of 18 per cent votes in the poll and trailing him were Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal who secured 11 per cent votes each. Nitish Kumar grabbed the third position with 10 per cent votes.
In recent days Yogi Adityanath has been credited with taking swift and decisive action against Islamist mobs which went on a rampage to oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Yogi Adityanath had declared that his government would seize the property of anti-CAA rioters to make them pay for the damages made to the public property.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
