Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been voted as the most popular Chief Minister in India as per the Mood Of The Nation (MOTN) poll conducted by India Today.
Yogi Adityanath secured a total of 18 per cent votes in the poll and trailing him were Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal who secured 11 per cent votes each. Nitish Kumar grabbed the third position with 10 per cent votes.
In recent days Yogi Adityanath has been credited with taking swift and decisive action against Islamist mobs which went on a rampage to oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Yogi Adityanath had declared that his government would seize the property of anti-CAA rioters to make them pay for the damages made to the public property.
