Zomato To Soon Begin Streaming Food-Related Videos; Will Roll Out 18 Shows In Next Three Months

Popular food-delivery company Zomato will soon begin the roll out 18 original shows for users of its apps, reports The Economic Times. The shows will be released over the next three months.
Arranged by genre, the videos will cover categories like recipes, sneak peek restaurant stories, celebrity interviews, etc. More than 2,000 videos will become available in the app’s library, including those produced as Zomato Originals.
The videos which will be available will be in Hindi or English, and will include elements ranging from comedy, reality fiction, advice, etc.
Some of the shows which will be rolled out on the Zomato app are Food and You with Sanjeev Kapoor, Banake Dikha with Sumukhi Suresh, Dude, where’s the food with Jordindian.
Zomato, which is one of the two dominant players in the Indian food delivery space, is the first to try out streaming content in the food category to its existing users. The plan may help keep users more engaged with its platform.
