Almost all exit polls predicted the Congress party would form the government in Haryana due to an anti-incumbency after 10 years of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) rule.

However, the result trends appear to have stabilised with the BJP leading at 51 seats and the Congress at 34 seats, while three Independents are leading.

This is against all exit polls as the most optimistic estimate for the BJP was up to 32 seats in Haryana in two surveys, Dhruv Research and People's Pulse.

Data from four exit polls collectively pointed to the Congress securing 55 out of 90 seats in Haryana, placing them well above the required majority of 46.

The Axis MyIndia exit poll expected the Congress to win 53-65 seats, while BJP was expected to win 18-28 seats. However, its prediction for smaller parties is turning out to be true.

Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) was predicted to not win a single seat, while the INLD-BSP combine was expected to win one to five Assembly constituencies.

JJP is not leading on any single seat and former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala is trailing in sixth position, while INLD and BSP are leading at one seat each.
