All Indian Air Force pilots involved in Operation Sindoor have returned safely, and all mission objectives were achieved, the IAF confirmed on Sunday (11 May).

Speaking at a joint India armed forces press briefing, Director General of Air Operations, Air Marshal A K Bharti, stated that India would not disclose platform-level details while combat readiness was still active.

He was asked about Pakistan's claims of downing two India Jets during Operation Sindoor.

“We are in a combat scenario and losses are a part of combat," Air Marshal Bharti said.

"The question that must be asked is have we achieved our objective of decimating the terror camps and the results are for the whole world to see," he added.

"As for the details, what could have been, which platforms did we lose, at this time I would not like to comment on that because we are still in a combat situation and if I comment on anything it will only be advantage adversary," the DGAO said.

He underlined that the selected objectives were met and there were no pilot casualties.

“All I can say is: we have achieved our objectives that we selected, and all our pilots are back home," Air Marshal Bharti said.
