While Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi is busy revealing ‘massive’ voter fraud, Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar seeking claims and objections for inclusion and exclusion to the new voter list remains empty.
According to the daily bulletin published by the Election Commission of India (ECI), despite having 17,549 appointed Booth Level Agents (BLA) from Congress Party, there are no claims or objections raised since the last seven days despite their claims in the press and social media about irregularities in the process.
This absence of action stands in contrast to Gandhi’s serious allegations. Addressing a press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, he claimed the BJP had colluded with the ECI to rig electoral rolls since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

“The Prime Minister needed to ‘steal’ only 25 seats to stay in power in 2024,” Gandhi alleged, as quoted by the Hindu noting that the BJP won 25 Lok Sabha constituencies with a margin of less than 33,000 votes.
He cited Mahadevapura in Karnataka as one example, claiming Congress investigations found over one lakh fake addresses in that constituency alone.
He further added, “I am a politician, and I am speaking to the people. Take this as an oath,” insisting that the “EC hasn’t said that Rahul Gandhi is wrong.”
The Election Commission has responded by demanding that Gandhi submit detailed proof of his allegations, including the material he presented at the press conference.
The Karnataka Chief Electoral Office specifically asked for documentation related to voter roll manipulation in Mahadevapura by the end of the day on 8 August.
Meanwhile, in Bihar, the Congress’s inaction in a process explicitly designed to detect such irregularities has raised questions about the party's follow-through.
