Ayodhya has been equipped with a multi-layer security cover for Ram Mandir event today (22 January). To keep an eye on movements, there are police personnel deployed in plain clothes, as well as 10,000 CCTV cameras.
Artificial intelligence-equipped drones are also deployed. To inspect the ground for mines or explosives, anti-mine drones have been deployed as well.
Multiple National Disaster Relief teams are deployed to deal with chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear attacks, drowning incidents and unforeseen earthquakes.
Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) personnel are keeping an eye on activities. Snipers of two NSG teams are deployed on rooftops and important locations.
Traffic is being regulated by police, especially the VVIP movements. They are deployed on important crossroads with moveable barriers and barbed wires attached to them.
While the guest list is of around 7,000 people, 13,000 troops have been deployed. Anti-bomb and dog squads are keeping the vigil high. Rapid Action Force personnel are also deployed.
The Prime Minister is expected to reach Ayodhya at around 10.25 am, and will be at Ramjanmabhoomi temple site by 10.55 am. The 'pran pratishtha' at the Ram Mandir will begin after 12 pm, and is expected to conclude by 1 pm.
