On the first day of the 18th Lok Sabha on Monday (24 June), the Opposition protested outside the Parliament while carrying copies of the Indian Constitution.
BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya mocked this protest by sharing a clip from the movie Bunty Aur Babli 2 and said, "Opposition right now, outside Parliament."
In the clip, people can be seen saying, "We have some problems... Complete our demands... Inquilab Zindabad... Tanashahi nahin chalegi... Angrezon Bharat chhodo."
However, when they are asked to be specific about their demands, they defer the topic. Ultimately they say that their demand is from Kala Sakhi, however, they were actually protesting against Phool Sakhi.
On realising this, they leave the protest side saying, "Accha, okay, sorry, bye, relax, don't mind." By sharing this video clip, the BJP wants to suggest the Opposition's protest is without any objective.
However, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, "The attack that the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) and Amit Shah are launching on the Constitution is not acceptable to us, we will not let this happen."
