The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released two video clips in the Swati Maliwal assault case, suggesting that the AAP Rajya Sabha MP has made false allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's personal secretary Bibhav Kumar by becoming a "pawn" of the BJP.

Maliwal responded to them in a post on X on Saturday (18 May) night and alleged conspiracy as the CCTV footage is missing.

"First Bibhav beat me brutally. He slapped and kicked me. When I freed myself and called 112, he went outside and called the security and started making a video," she said referring to a mobile recording that was released by AAP.

AAP Minister Atishi referring to this 52-second video said, "In her complaint to the police, she said she was assaulted... but the video shows her sitting comfortably and threatening officials... also seen threatening Bibhav Kumar. Her clothes were not torn and there was no injury on her head."

"I was screaming and telling the security that Bibhav had beaten me brutally. That entire long part of the video was edited. Only 50 seconds were released when I was fed up with explaining to the security guys," Maliwal said.

"Now they formatted the phone and deleted the entire video? CCTV footage is also missing! Limits of consipracy!" she added.

AAP also released a CCTV footage yesterday where Maliwal is being seen escorted outside the CM's residence after her alleged assault and Atishi claimed that Maliwal doesn't seem in pain in this video.
