The medical report of Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal reveals bruises on body parts after alleged assault by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's personal secretary Bibhav Kumar.

After Maliwal gave her written complaint of the Monday incident to the Delhi Police on Thursday (16 May), she was taken to Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre at the national capital's AIIMS.

The report published today reveals that she has bruises on her left leg and right cheek below her right eye. She is said to have complained about pain over her thighs and pelvis, neck stiffness and headache.

This comes after AAP released a CCTV footage where Swati Maliwal is being seen escorted outside the CM's residence after her alleged assault and Atishi claimed that Maliwal doesn't seem in pain in this video.

AAP Minister Atishi further alleged that the assault allegations are linked to the investigation against Swati Maliwal by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the now-canceled recruitment of contractual employees when she was DCW chief.

"There is a case against Swati Maliwal by the ACB, FIR has been made and probe is underway and using this, Swati Maliwal was made to hatch this conspiracy and was used as a pawn," Atishi said.
