An explosion has been reported at the popular Rameswaram Cafe in Kundalahalli, Bengaluru, resulting in serious injuries to five individuals on Friday (1 March).
The incident, which unfolded near the HAL police station, has sparked concerns and prompted immediate police investigations.
According to initial reports, an object placed in a bag exploded at around 1 pm.
The explosion inflicted severe injuries on the victims and caused significant damage to the cafe's premises.
Reports also suggest that the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Whitefield area has have rushed to the spot following the explosion.
Meanwhile, authorities have swiftly responded to the scene, with police launching an extensive examination of the area for clues and potential threats.
In addition to police presence, firefighters were deployed to extinguish the ensuing blaze to contain the fire and prevent further harm.
