From Nagpur To Jalgaon: Seven New Flyovers Opened Across Maharashtra To Streamline Traffic At Key Railway Gates

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on has inaugurated seven newly constructed flyovers across the state.

These flyovers, built by the Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (MAHARAIL), were inaugurated on Sunday and mark a significant milestone in the state's infrastructure development.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration, CM Fadnavis praised MAHARAIL for setting a benchmark in the swift execution of infrastructure projects.

He announced that the state-owned company has achieved a new record in the speed of flyover construction and it will complete 200 flyovers and underpasses in the upcoming days.

Highlighting Maharashtra's leadership in infrastructure development, CM Fadnavis emphasised the scale of ongoing projects. 

He said that currently, Maharashtra has the highest number of infrastructure projects underway.

Whether it's metro systems, roads, highways, airports, or port projects, work is progressing rapidly across the state.

The seven flyovers inaugurated span across various districts in Maharashtra, addressing critical traffic bottlenecks near railway gates:

Nagpur: Flyover at Railway Gate No. 293 near Godh Railway Station.

Amravati: Flyover at Railway Gate No. 70 near Chandur Railway Station.

Wardha: Flyover at Railway Gate No. 103 near Sindi Railway Station.

Chandrapur: Flyover at Railway Gate No. 43A/143A at Babupeth.

Dhule: Flyover at Dondaicha city railway gate No. 105.

Jalgaon: Flyover at Railway Gate No. 149 near Jalgaon Railway Station.

Washim: Flyover at Railway Gate No. 115 near Washim Railway Station.
