'Gau Rakshak' Monu Manesar Arrested In Connection With Double Murder In Rajasthan, Nuh Violence

'Gau rakshak' Monu Manesar, a member of the Bajrang Dal, has been detained by the Haryana Police, NDTV has reported.
Monu Manesar was wanted in connection with the murder of two individuals from Rajasthan and his alleged involvement in inciting violence in Nuh back in July.
The accused, identified as a key player in the murder of two Muslim men from Rajasthan, has been on the run since the horrific incident took place.
According to NDTV, sources within the Haryana Police have revealed that Monu Manesar was apprehended on Tuesday (12 September), with charges filed against him under specific sections of the Information Technology Act, which are bailable. It is anticipated that he will secure his release on bail later in the day, the report adds.
Subsequently, the Rajasthan Police will take custody of Monu Manesar to continue their investigation into the double murder case.
Mridul Kachawa, the Superintendent of Police in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, confirmed, "Our colleagues in the Haryana Police have informed us that Monu Manesar has been detained. After their legal procedures are complete, we will begin our procedure."
