India Struck 11 Strategic Pakistani Airbases Including Nur Khan, Skardu And Sargodha In 90-Minute Blitz

Ahead of the mutual understanding agreement with Pakistan on Saturday (10 May), India reportedly struck 11 major Pakistani air force bases in a span of 90 minutes as part of Operation Sindoor.

The airbases targeted were at Nur Khan (Chaklala, near Islamabad), Noor Khan in Chaklala, Rafiqui, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Skardu, Bholari and Jacobabad.

According to journalist Shiv Aroor, the strikes were surgical and sweeping, reaching deep into Pakistani territory with long-range stand-off weapons aimed at crippling Islamabad’s air readiness.

Each of these bases reportedly holds strategic significance as they serve as command centres, logistics hubs, drone launch pads and aircraft shelters.

“Nur Khan near Islamabad is their key logistical artery in Rawalpindi,” Aroor stated, adding, “Rafiqui and Sargodha are the crown jewels of PAF air operations. Skardu is the launch pad for high-altitude missions, while Chunian and Pasrur serve as drone staging grounds.”

The precision strikes reportedly disabled radar coverage, crippled forward deployment capability, and exposed high-value air assets, delivering a severe blow to Pakistan's combat preparedness.

In the aftermath of the offensive, Aroor revealed that Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) made a direct call seeking a ceasefire, indicating a strategic retreat.

“India’s strikes left Pakistan with two choices,” said Aroor.

“Escalate and lose more, or de-escalate. Pakistan chose the phone," he added.
