President Droupadi Murmu will visit Prayagraj on Monday to participate in the ongoing Maha Kumbh.
As part of her visit, she will take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the Saraswati rivers.
Over the course of her eight-hour-long visit, President Murmu will witness the spiritual and cultural significance of the Maha Kumbh.
She will also offer prayers at the revered Akshayavat and Bade Hanuman Temple, NDTV reported.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reportedly also accompany the President during her visit to the Maha Kumbh.
President Murmu will begin her day at the Sangam Nose, where she will take a ceremonial dip at the Triveni Sangam.
Following the holy dip, President Murmu will visit the sacred Akshayavat tree, which is considered as a symbol of immortality in Sanatan tradition.
The site holds great significance in Hinduism and is mentioned in ancient scriptures.
The President will also visit the Bade Hanuman Temple.
As part of her visit, President Murmu will explore the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Centre, an initiative blending tradition with modern technology.
