Over 52 Per Cent Voting Till 3 PM: Lowest Turnout In J&K As 10 States, UTs Vote For Lok Sabha Elections

Voters in 96 parliamentary constituencies across nine states and one Union Territory are voting in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election today (13 May).

Further, polling is also underway for all 175 seats of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and 28 seats of Odisha Legislative Assembly simultaneously.

Nine states and one Union Territory -- Andhra Pradesh (25), Bihar (5), Jharkhand (4), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Odisha (4), Telangana (17), Uttar Pradesh (13), West Bengal (8), and Jammu and Kashmir (1) -- are voting for Lok Sabha elections today.

Till 3 pm, the seats have clocked an average 52.60 per cent turnout.

In Andhra Pradesh, the voter participation stands at 55.49 per cent, while Bihar recorded a turnout of 45.23 per cent.

Jammu and Kashmir saw a relatively lower turnout of 29.93 per cent, while Jharkhand registered 56.42 per cent.

In Madhya Pradesh, 59.63 per cent voters have cast their votes, while in Maharashtra, 42.35 per cent voter participation was recorded.

Odisha reported a turnout of 52.91 per cent, while Telangana saw a voter turnout of 52.34 per cent till 3 pm.

In Uttar Pradesh, 48.41 per cent of voters have cast their votes, while 66.05 per cent voter turnout has been recorded in West Bengal.
