The security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have released sketches of two Pakistani terrorists responsible for the attack on an Indian Air Force (IAF) vehicle in Poonch last week, as per a report by Hindustan Times.

A reward of Rs 20 lakh has been announced for information leading to their arrest.

Corporal Vikky Pahade of the IAF died in the ambush, and four other personnel were injured when terrorists attacked the IAF convoy near Shahsitar in Poonch on Saturday evening.

Since the attack, the armed forces have been conducting a major search operation in the Shahsitar area, utilising armed bulletproof vehicles and dog squads to track down the terrorists.

Several senior officers visited the site on Sunday, including Corps Commander of 16 Corps and ADG Jammu Zone Anand Jain, who monitored the ongoing search operation. Numerous suspects have been detained for questioning.

Vikky Pahade, a resident of Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara's Nonia Karbal area, had joined work just 15 days before his death after taking leave for his sister's wedding.

He joined the Indian Air Force in 2011 and is survived by his wife, Rina, and son, Hardik. His sister, Geeta Pahade, expressed pride in her brother and called for justice.

The Indian Air Force paid tribute to Corporal Vikky Pahade, with Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari and all IAF personnel honouring his sacrifice in the Poonch Sector.

They expressed deepest condolences to his family and assured them of their unwavering support in their time of grief.
