Prioritising Defence, Rural Development, Agriculture, and other sectors the Union Budget 2025 has made significant financial allocations to them aimed at strengthening infrastructure, welfare programs, and economic growth.
The Defence Ministry has received the highest allocation at Rs 6,81,210 crore. Rural Development Ministry follows with Rs 1,90,405 crore.
Home Affairs, covering internal security and law enforcement, has been allotted Rs 2,33,210 crore to enhance policing, border security, and disaster management.
The Agriculture and Allied Activities sector, a number one focus of Budget 2025, has been allocated Rs 1,37,756 crore.
Education and Health, two crucial pillars of social development, have been allotted Rs 1,28,650 crore and Rs 99,858 crore.
The Ministry of Railways has been granted Rs 2,55,455 crore, while Ministry of Road Transport and Highways receive Rs 2,87,333 crore, reinforcing India's digital expansion.
Energy and Commerce and Industry sectors have been allocated Rs 81,174 crore and Rs 65,553 crore.
Additionally, Social Welfare receives Rs 60,052 crore, while Scientific Departments have been allotted Rs 55,679 crore, ensuring investment in research, innovation, and technological advancements.
