In the wake of recent US strikes on Yemen, including the latest targeting of a military base in Sanaa, Houthi spokesperson Mohammed Abdulsalam has affirmed that the airstrikes have had no significant impact on the group's capabilities.
As per reports by Hindustan Times, Abdulsalam, speaking to Reuters, stated that despite the attacks, the Houthi forces remain steadfast in their commitment to preventing vessels affiliated with Israel from passing through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
The US strikes, which targeted a military base in Sanaa, were met with resilience by the Houthi group, said the spokesperson.
Another official from Ansarullah, Nasruldeen Amer, informed Al Jazeera that there were no injuries or material losses in the recent strike.
Amer further declared a "strong and effective" response from the Houthi forces in the face of the attacks.
Its important to note that the ongoing conflict in Yemen has witnessed a series of confrontations, with the latest strike marking another chapter in the tensions between the Houthi rebels and external forces.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
