India's T20 World Cup-winning team will arrive back at home on Thursday (4 July) morning. Here is their full schedule in New Delhi and Mumbai for the upcoming days:

After being stranded in the Caribbean islands for three days following their victory against South Africa in the final, the Indian cricketers, their families, coaching staff, BCCI officials, and covering sports journalists will return home via a special flight arranged by the board.

After landing, the players will head to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at around 9:30 a.m. The felicitation ceremony is expected to last for a couple of hours. Following this, the players will leave for Mumbai via another chartered flight.

The Indian team will then drive from Mumbai airport to the Wankhede Stadium, completing the last kilometre of the journey in an open bus. A similar open bus parade was held when the MS Dhoni-led Indian side won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007.

The report further states that there will be a presentation ceremony at Wankhede Stadium, where captain Rohit Sharma will hand over the World Cup trophy to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. The trophy will remain at the BCCI headquarters for the next two years.

On Thursday evening, the players will depart for their respective hometowns.

However, another report also mentioned that the open bus parade in Mumbai might be rescheduled to Friday, as the long flight journey from Barbados to Delhi and the ceremony with PM Modi may leave the players tired.
