This comes after the seizure of tokens allegedly meant for cash distribution from DMK South Union Treasurer Sarbudeen in Tiruppur.
Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai had written to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) saying that the DMK was distributing 2 kilograms of meat and cash to bribe voters.
He had written that voters were paid Rs 1000 to sit at a designated place for one day and Rs 5000, if they sat for 20 days.
The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has alleged that the DMK was forcing voters to sit in shamianas and marriage halls, in order to prevent them from interacting with the AIADMK workers.
