Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi is likely to travel abroad on 9 December. According to ANI, he will be visiting Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
While in Singapore and Malaysia, he will meet the Indian diaspora, in Indonesia, he will meet diplomats. According to sources, he is also likely to meet Vietnam Communist Party leaders.
Notably, the winter session of the parliament is scheduled to start on 4 December and end on 22 December. If Rahul Gandhi goes by the above-mentioned plan, he might miss parliament.
Interestingly, while Rahul Gandhi's attendance for this Lok Sabha term is 53 per cent overall, he was also absent from the parliament during the last winter session registering 0 per cent attendance.
