Sachin Bishnoi, a relative of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been extradited from Azerbaijan to India in connection with the murder of Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala.
According to the Special Commissioner of Police (Delhi), HGS Dhaliwal, Sachin was extradited from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, by the Delhi Police Special Cell.
Sidhu Moosewala, aged 28, was tragically shot dead on 29 May last year in Mansa, Punjab. This incident occurred just a day after the state government had reduced his security cover.
The murder of Sidhu Moosewala took place at close range, resulting in his immediate death upon arrival at the Mansa civil hospital.
Investigation has identified Lawrence Bishnoi as the mastermind behind the killing.
Additionally, Goldy Brar, a close associate of Bishnoi believed to be residing in Canada, has also been implicated in the chargesheet filed for the murder case.
