Tamil Nadu Cabinet Reshuffle: PTR Shifted To IT; Thangam Thennarasu To Replace Him As Finance Minister

According to a press release by the Raj Bhavan, the following changes have been made in the Tamil Nadu cabinet-

Finance Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan (PTR) has been shifted to the Information Technology (IT) portfolio which was held by Mano Thangaraj. Thangam Thennarasu, who is currently the Industries Minister would be the new Finance Minister.

TRB Rajaa, who has been inducted into the Cabinet today (11 May) will be the new Industries Minister.

MP Saminathan who is currently in charge of Information and Publicity would now also be in charge of Tamil Development.

Mano Thangaraj would be the new Milk and Dairy Development Minister in place of SM Nasar who was dropped from the Cabinet.
