In a video released today (15 June), Chief Minister MK Stalin said that he was warning the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) not to provoke the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). He said that his party also knows 'politics.'

Reiterating his allegation that the raids and arrest of Senthil Balaji by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) were part of the centre’s nationwide intimidatory tactics, he said that leaders like Sanjay Raut in Maharashtra and Manish Sisodia in Delhi were also arrested like this.

Speaking of Balaji, he said that the ED had put him under immense pressure for over 18 hours and this had led to the deterioration in his health. "What was the need for the ED to do so? He is a five-time MLA and a minister, not somebody who would run away", he said.
