Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai has said that 'DMK Files', i.e., details of alleged corruption and benami assets of ministers and leaders of the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) would be released tomorrow (14 April).
14 April is the birthday of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar as well as the Tamil new year.
He is also expected to release details of his finances and the receipt for the Rafale watch which caused a row in December 2022.
Last December, he said that the BJP is doing deep research to find out all details including benami holdings and the studies till then have revealed a huge figure of Rs 2 lakh crore.
However, the padayatra covering all 234 constituencies in the state, which was to be launched on the same date would now take place later as Annamalai has been made a co-in charge of the Karnataka elections.
