Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath campaigned for "Yogi of Rajasthan" Baba Balaknath in Rajasthan's Tijara on Wednesday (1 November) for the elections scheduled for 25 November.
Targeting the Gehlot government, he said, "I have heard that in Tijara, the candidate fielded by the ruling party attaches grand titles before their name, but the solution to lawlessness lies in Lord Hanuman's mace."
Notably, Imran Khan is the Congress candidate from here, who joined after leaving Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). His candidature was announced yesterday in Congress' fourth list.
Referring to Gaza strip, Yogi Adityanath said, "You all can see how Israel is crushing the Taliban mindset." The UP CM's address came after Balaknath's nomination filing, Patrika reported.
"There is no criminal in UP today who dares to defile the honor of our sisters and daughters, but in Rajasthan, saints are murdered, cow smuggling takes place, and our sisters and daughters are not safe," he said.
"Property of traders is forcibly taken over. Today, the money of Rajasthan is not being used for the work of the people of Rajasthan. On the one hand, you glorify cow smugglers, while on the other hand, you bulldoze ashrams of saints," he further alleged.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was also targeted by Baba Balaknath. He said, "A 300-year-old Shiv temple was demolished in Rajsamand. Even demons do not do such things. In Rajasthan, there is a house of the Chief Minister Fatwa House. There, work against Sanatan Dharma is done. He said that the Congress government had tempted the youth to eliminate unemployment and ate the paper of the unemployed by selling it."
