Dear reader,

Sometimes, just when everything seems calm, some people try to stir up trouble.

For example, after the Budget day, a Bengaluru MP went berserk saying that the southern part of India might want to break away because of unfair treatment.

And today, some leaders from the Karnataka Congress are protesting in front of the parliament, saying they're not getting their fair share of taxes and resources from the union government.

And then there's some media talking heads lamenting about these issues, but sometimes they get the facts wrong. We need to be careful about that.

At Swarajya, we want to give you the full story -- there's often some part of the story lost in the mist. Just like how there's clear double standards when it comes to fair share within the state of KA, to start with.

This is just an example, dear reader. We need to keep going and it isn't possible without you by our side.

Subscribing is the best way to support us today. And now you can get the premium print + digital subscription for just ₹2999 ₹1999 - we're just a click away here.

Also, we still have some print copies of our special Ayodhya Sri Ram Janmabhoomi edition available. If you subscribe to print + digital today, we'll include that and our limited-edition India that is Bharat T-shirt with your order, both FREE.

Until next time,

Arush Tandon, Executive Editor
