Why does Pannun enjoy impunity in US?

The US media has not fully covered the threats and statements made by Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

He's a terrorist by any definition. The man has done enough to indicate he's a harm to the lives of innocent Indians.

Earlier this year, in a video release, he threatened to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

  • “I dare Modi, you come to Delhi without your security. If you are a popular leader, come to Delhi on R-Day without security and SFJ (Sikhs For Justice) is going to avenge the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar by

    raising the Khalistan flag.."

  • He has also called for the killing of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

  • He has also threatened to blow up Air India passenger planes. (Nov 2023)

  • "We are asking the Sikh people not to fly via Air India. From November 19, there will be a global blockade. Air India won't be allowed to operate. Sikh people, don't travel by Air India after November 19. Your life can be in danger."

What would the US do if someone were to issue such threats to their country and its leaders? We have the example of Ridhi Patel from within the US itself.

  • Ridhi Patel, an Indian-American threatened to kill the local mayor and city council members in California for not backing a ceasefire resolution against Israel in the city council!

  • She's been arrested and charged with 16 counts of felony.

  • It would appear Gurpatwant Singh Pannun receives special treatment from the US government - threatening to kill hundreds of passengers doesn't seem to move the needle!

WaPo does it again

The Washington Post today published an editorial on the subject of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. The preachy toned essay has nothing to say on the illegal and terrorist activities of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

  • How does a major media publication come to the defence of someone who threatens to blow up planes full of civilians and to assassinate India's Prime Minister?

  • Also: Has the Washington Post tried to find out why Tahawwur Hussain Rana has not been extradited to India yet? Rana was a US double agent whose active participation led to one of India's goriest terror events - the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

  • We look forward to an editorial by the publication on why so many of those involved with terror activities have found refuge in the US.

  • But something tells us we'll have to wait for a very long time for such an editorial to appear.
