Centre Right India is pleased to present Episode 6 of its podcast series, Punctuations, in which Jaideep Prabhu and Sandeep Balakrishna talk to Air Marshall (Retd.) Philip Rajkumar. CRI raises issues about India’s Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), the Tejas, and Indian defence R&D in general. Air Marshal Rajkumar is the author of The Tejas Story: The Light Combat Aircraft Project, a must-read for serious defence enthusiasts and scholars, as well as the co-author of the more accessible First to the Last – 50 years of the MiG 21 with the IAF. Rajkumar’s career spanned almost 40 years, from 1962 to 2001, during which he was awarded the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM), Ati VIshisht Seva Medal (AVSM), and the Vayu Sena Medal (VM) by the President. Towards the end of his career, he was the Programme Director for the Light Combat Aircraft project with the Aeronautical Development Agency in Bangalore.
