Former Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha has made another set of allegations against the Ashok Gehlot-led government in an interview.
While stating that Rajasthan has the most number of rape cases, he alleged that those who "made a century" of rapes are ministers in the state government.
"Ajmer 92 film's villain is with us (in state cabinet). The biggest rapist is in the cabinet," Gudha further alleged. He asserted that he will leave politics if proven wrong.
Ajmer 92 is a movie based on the 1992 Ajmer rape and blackmail case of hundreds of girls. It was released this Friday (21 July).
The main accused Farooq Chishtee was president of the Ajmer Youth Congress, while the other accused Nafis Chishtee and Anwar Chishtee were vice-president and joint secretary of Ajmer Indian National Congress respectively.
Gudha also claimed that if narco tests are done of the close aides of cabinet ministers, then one will find that the jailed rapists are nothing in front of them.
Notably, Gudha was removed from Rajasthan's cabinet for his aggressive stance against the government in the Assembly regarding crimes against women in the state.
He was also suspended from the state assembly after creating a ruckus over an alleged red diary that contains evidence of corruption by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
