India has conducted the fourth successful test of the Agni-V missile which is expected to enter active service soon. We have "no first use" policy on using nukes. Still, Agni V has caused a lot of heartburn in China.
Why? Because the Agni V has a range of 5,500 Km And Can Hit Deep Inside China. It can be launched in minutes and is hard to detect due to its mobile system. Mobility makes it hard for China to detect its location and destroy it in first strike. This greatly increases India's second strike capability even if its land based nukes are destroyed.
The angry reactions from China show that India has won the battle of mind.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
